  Do you match singles with roommates? What if I prefer my own room?
  

  We do match singles with roommates of the same gender and similar age (whenever possible) at no additional charge. Booking early will help ensure that you are matched with someone close to your age but this can not be guaranteed. This complimentary matching service saves our guests money by allowing them to take advantage of the shared (double) occupancy cabin rate. This service is available in most standard cabin categories but not available for suites. If a single prefers to room alone, we can provide rates on single occupancy cabins.

  Our goal with our complimentary roommate matching program is to help foster the development of new friendships during your cruise and offer you the opportunity to save money by avoiding any single supplement charges imposed by the cruise lines for single cabins.

  Please note that Meet Me There Events accepts no responsibility for roommate matching incompatibility such as sleep patterns, snoring, noise, or age differences. If you are concerned that any of these disparities may be an issue affecting the enjoyment of your vacation, we recommend you purchase a single cabin or better yet - bring a friend along who may also enjoy a singles cruise!

  We will match clients of the same gender to share a cabin, and it will try to match roommates based on age similarity, although this is not a guarantee. We do not conduct any type of background checks on it clients in general, and specifically does not conduct background checks on matching a client with another in a roommate situation.

  Meet Me There Events makes no representations or warranties regarding compatibility between roommates. Our roommate matching is strictly for non-smokers - this is for the comfort of all our roommate matches, and it relies on the honor system at booking and common courtesy while onboard. Even if you don’t consider yourself a regular smoker, if you do choose to smoke during the cruise, then you will not have the option of using our roommate matching on any future cruises.

  Under no circumstances will Meet Me There Events Inc. be liable for any damages whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, general, special, compensatory, consequential, and/or incidental arising out of or relating to the conduct of any client or guest action or interaction between clients or guests, including without limitation bodily injury, emotional distress, harassment, and defamation.

  Are the prices quoted based on sharing a cabin?

  We offer rates for both single and double occupancy and are not guaranteed until a deposit has been made, the credit card has been charged and an invoice has been physically mailed or emailed to you. Cabin prices are subject to availability and do sell out quickly, so reserve your cabin space early for the best rates.

  
  How much is my deposit and when is my final payment due?

  We require a deposit for each cruise booking to reserve your cabin space (unless otherwise stated). Deposit amounts vary and are based on the length of cruise and the cruise destination. Deposit information for each cruise is posted next to the online pricing information. Full payment is generally due 90 days prior to the sailing date (but may vary by cruise line). For your convenience, charges will automatically be processed at time of final payment. Payments can be made by personal check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. For those guests who book within 90 days of sailing, full payment is required at the time of reservation.

  Do I need a passport?

  The destination and embarkation/disembarkation port of the cruise will determine what form of ID you will need for boarding. Most cruise lines require a valid proof of citizenship such as a passport, certified birth certificate with photo ID, military ID, and/or original naturalization papers. US laws have recently changed. The new laws are part of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative. The goal is to strengthen border security and facilitate entry into the United States for U.S. citizens and legitimate foreign visitors. 
  
  On June 1, 2009, the U.S. government will implement the full requirements of the land and sea phase of WHTI. The proposed rules require most U.S. citizens entering the United States at sea or land ports of entry to have a passport, passport card, or other travel document approved by the Department of Homeland Security.

  When will I receive my cruise documents?

  We will supply you with instructions on how to print your electronic cruise documents approximately 14 days prior to sailing.

  
  

  What is travel insurance? Do I need it?

  Travel Insurance is available for purchase through Meet Me There Events to protect your vacation investment should you need to cancel your trip due to unforeseen circumstances. We highly recommend travel insurance for your vacation investment. Our special insurance plan will cover you for most illness and accidents, your personal belongings, trip delays and much more. The cost of travel insurance is non-refundable.

  Looking for a few tennis partners? Just for FUN. Mostly for the exercise. Not advanced, beginner ok. We'll schedule some regularly scheduled hit arounds. FREE! NO additional cost. No rules, no competition, no embarrassing anyone. Let's laugh as we learn, get better and get an amazing work out. Flexible and based on our schedules and level.
  We can pick courts based on our distance. NO Pressure. Come out when it works for you. Practice makes perfect. In addition we have put together a What's app group, where all participants can see when, where and even suggest times and locations. We'll rotate different locations, days and times in all three S. Florida counties. Great exercise. Great FUN and a great way to make new connections. 

  *This is only for the cardio tennis for fun group. You will not have access to the full access calendar of events. If you want full access you will have to choose basic or VIP member.

  *There is a one time, lifetime fee of $55 for the cardio tennis for fun group. You can join here

  *Once you join the cardio tennis for fun group, you will have login access and may view the calendar of get togethers. Only there will you will be able to RSVP.

  *Once you join, you will be added to the e-mail notification list and invited to the WhatsApp group. In the WhatsApp Group you can communicate with others for hit arounds. We always do an e-mail blast when suggesting a get together. 

  *90 percent of these get togethers are free for members only. On occasion we will suggest a paid event or clinic. That fee will be posted.

  *We will post suggested times and locations but, encourage members to also suggest times and locations. In some cases, you may see more than one get together at the same time. Example. If we post a time and place, let's say in Delray Beach, in the WhatsApp group you may see another group have a get together in South Beach or Fort Lauderdale and so on. We'll always rotate areas and ask that you suggest great locations.

  Let's face it. We are all "busy'. Careers, family, relationships, ex's, paying the bills, etc.. Ever notice how good you feel after venting – to a friend, to a therapist, even a stranger who was willing to listen? But, sometimes it's hard to be brave like when we were kids and would pretty much talk to anyone. Get brave! Let's take advantage of the group setting and get together for regularly scheduled, "friends forum". We'll take an hour or two to disconnect from the world (and phones) and get to know each other.

  Come play tennis with other members! Round Robin means you will switch on and off with other members. OK, so many of you have said you're not quite at that level yet still enjoy hitting the ball or you want to learn. So, on court two it will be beginner round robin whatever. Practice, vollies, make up rules as we go along or whatever works as long as we are having fun. Maybe some of the advanced players will give us some tips.
  

  This is a great way to make new friends and find potential partners at your level. Trust me. Just for fun. You do not have to be experienced! If you don't have a racquet, no problem. We will supply racquets and balls.
  
  *As a reminder, a confirmation and meeting instructions e-mail is always sent out 24 hours before. All members attending are required to respond in addition to RSVP'ing. Please check your spam filter as many of them end up there leaving members to say they never got instructions.

  Something new. Something different. We all know how hard it is to make new friends. Especially ones you click with. Have you ever wished that you had a wingman or wingwoman to go to the movies, hit the beach, try that new restaurant or maybe hit a club? Of course you did. Like most of us there's probably been plenty of times you would have done something if only you had a friend or a group to do it with. So I propose a group of friends that meet regularly or have a group where they can try fun activities with friends.  Here's how it will work.
  
  1. Once joined , you will have access to the calendar of events specifically for this group. You can see a sample of event suggestions here Participate whenever it's good for you. 

  2. Members may suggest and host events or get togethers. E-mail Adrian@MeetMeThereEvents.com Once your suggestion is approved, it will be placed on the calendar and you designated as the host.

  3. We have a WhatsApp group. Once joined here, you will be added to that group. There all can join in on group communication and put ideas out. EG. There doesn't have to be something scheduled for John to shout out, "anyone want to play some tennis today?" or Mary posts, "Looking for anyone who wants to hit Brunch on Sunday". The WhatsApp group is a great way for all of us to see activity, talk to each other, get others to attend an activity or even find each other when at the location. Once verified here, you will be sent instructions to complete your profile and WhatsApp invite.

  Some guidelines:
  Do not mistake this as an opportunity to try and secretly date someone. THIS IS NOT FOR THOSE LOOKING FOR A DATE!! You will be found out and once members report back to me that you did, you will be removed. We expect all to act maturely, responsible and with good social graces. This should be considered a unisex opportunity. It does not matter who you click with. Male or female. You decide.

  Behavior. It will be expected that all will act maturely and respectfully towards other members. No harassment or disrespectful action or speech will be tolerated. Anyone violating these guidelines will be removed. Other members can feel free to forward any concerns to the group admin.
  

  Attendance. Whereas there are no minimum attendance required, we expect that you RSVP to events responsibly. Especially free events. Please DO NOT RSVP if you are not 100% able to attend. If you rsvp yes and your plans change, no problem. Just let us know or change your rsvp. Please do not RSVP yes and just not show up. This is just not considerate to your fellow attendees. We decide on whether to proceed with an event based on your rsvps. If this happens twice, we'll communicate with you and see why. If it happens a third time, you will be removed.

  One of our many VIP only events. We rotate this event regularly in Palm Beach, Broward and Dade. We'll gather a small intimate group of VIPs and hit a local eatery for Dinner night. A great way to network, make new friends and get out of the house for a few hours on a school night. Also the chance to try restaurants you haven't been to yet. Event will last about three hours. First we'll meet for a meet and greet and then enjoy dinner followed by either coffee or a movie. You will see this event rotated in all three S. Florida counties.
  

  First, we'll meet at 7pm for a meet and greet before heading to our group table at 7:30.

  Come meet, mingle and flirt with local single professionals at our Singles Mixer Party. Unlike most singles events where attendees rarely meet others, our Ice breakers are designed for you to interact with as many as possible. 

  After everyone arrives and gets settled, you will be given a card with a few simple tasks to accomplish and trivia questions. Don't panic. There's nothing too difficult. It's simply built as an ice breaker and to get you to interact with all attendees. For every task or question completed, you get a raffle ticket. The more tickets the more chances to win prizes.

  Recommended ages: 35 - 55. This is not overly structured/rigid. You can feel free to relax and mingle at your own pace.

  This is an easy and relaxed event. No experience needed. If you have our own kayak, see below.
  
  After the tour we'll have a wine and cheese picnic. Wine, soft drink, cheese, crackers, fruit and snacks. No walk ins or cash at event. No exceptions! Pre-Registration Pre-Payment only.
  Wear sunscreen and a hat, and bring bottled water with you. Kayaking is a strenuous activity and may not be advisable for individuals with impairments of the back or shoulders. however, it is beginner friendly and last time it was a breeze.
  
  Bring nothing that might be harmed by salt water. You will get wet. Please be prepared to double up with someone in a two person kayak.
  Cost includes, kayaks and picnic. There is a $4.00 (not included)per car parking charge at the gate so, coming with more than one person in a car is a good idea.

  Come play tennis with other members! Round Robin means you will switch on off with other members. OK, so many of you have said you're not quite at that level yet still enjoy hitting the ball or you want to learn. So, on court two it will be beginner round robin whatever. Practice, vollies, make up rules as we go along or whatever works as long as we are having fun. Maybe some of the advanced players will give us some tips.
  

  This is a great way to make new friends and find potential partners at your level. Trust me. Just for fun. You do not have to be experienced! If you don't have a racquet, no problem. We will supply racquets and balls.
  
  *As a reminder, a confirmation and meeting instructions e-mail is always sent out 24 hours before. All members attending are required to respond in addition to RSVP'ing. Please check your spam filter as many of them end up there leaving members to say they never got instructions.

  Let's hit a local eatery for "Dinner with friends". A great way to network, make new friends and get out of the house for a few hours. Also the chance to try restaurants you haven't been to yet. Event will last about three hours. First we'll meet for a meet and greet and then enjoy dinner followed drinks and conversation.

  PLEASE READ ALL DETAILS. FREE EVENT FOR MEMBERS
  Looking for a group of friends that want to hit the beach, get a little cardio and get acquainted on regular basis. No commitment, flexible schedule days and evenings. We can rotate locations days and times. Main goal: Socialize, new friendships, and exercise. 

  We'll meet at a designated spot. After brief intros, those who want to take a brisk 15 - 30 minute walk on the beach will do so. If you just want to chill, awesome. After the walk, let's enjoy the beach and get acquainted. 

  Guidelines. Please RSVP responsibly. If you RSVP yes, please show OR if you can't make it, let us know. No shows. Not cool. If you are a no show, you will be banned from attending future events.

  Please be friendly, no hidden agenda and no inappropriate behavior. I.E. No politics or disrespectful conversation. Let's just have an enjoyable time and enjoy being outdoors with friends.

  Bring whatever you think you need. Chair, sunscreen, water snacks etc.. If walking, be prepared to be comfortable for a brisk walk to get the heart rate up.

  After the walk, grab a chair and let's talk, laugh and get to know each other. Simple!

  There will always be a meeting instructions e-mail sent 24 hours prior. That is why you must be preregistered. 

  * If you are planning to attend, you will be required to respond to the confirmation/meeting instructions e-mail 24 hours prior. We always send a contact phone number as well. This is a weather permitting event. So, your contact info is required should it cancel due to bad weather.

  Let's face it. We are all "busy'. Careers, family, relationships, ex's, paying the bills, etc.. Ever notice how good you feel after venting – to a friend, to a therapist, even a stranger who was willing to listen? But, sometimes it's hard to be brave like when we were kids and would pretty much talk to anyone. Get brave! Let's take advantage of the group setting and get together for regularly scheduled, "friends forum".   Join other members for happy hour and try our scavenger hunt which only takes an hour. After this two hour event we will hang for, drinks and new friends. FREE event for VIPs.
  
  Teams of four (don’t worry about coming single, we will pair you up), will have one hour to find and take pictures as many items as they can find that is listed on your Hunt sheet. These are easy things to find, no thought involved. The first team that comes back with all completed or the team with the most completed wins! Psssssssttttt! This is for fun. Don't sweat it. Just show up and be willing to have fun!! Simply a great way to make new connections
